Moise Kean is a man on a mission and if the early signs are anything to go by, the future is very promising.
While the 19-year-old won his first cap for Italy back in November, it was his second appearance for the former world champions that has brought him into the footballing spotlight.
In the 74th minute, the 19-year-old struck for Italy in a 2-0 win over Finland, as they began their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with a win.
The goal, his first for the Azzurri, made him the youngest player to score for Italy since 1958.

He also became the youngest player to start for the national team since Edoardo Mariani in 1912.
“Kean has quality, enormous potential and it all depends on him,†manager Roberto Mancini said after.
“It’s not difficult to see talent in Kean and Nicolò Zaniolo, so it’s not a risk to pick them.”
“This is a beautiful evening [scoring against Finland], but I know that I still have so many records to beat and I intend to beat them.
“When I got the call, I was fired up, excited, eager to show what I could do. Ciro [Immobile] gave me a great assist and it’s thanks to him and the whole team that I was able to score.”
Kean was born in Vercelli, northern Italy, to Ivorian parents and he began playing in youth teams in 2007, first with Asti and then Torino.
Three years later, Juventus came calling, where Kean spent six years making a name for himself in the academy.
His mother Isabelle, recalls the moment her son signed his first contract.
“He called me at half past five at night, I was going to work in Nizza Monferrato. I got scared, I thought something had happened to him,” she said.
“Instead he says to me ‘mum, there’s a surprise for you’. I replied ‘don’t tell me you didn’t sign with Juventus’.
“And he said ‘no, I signed and you don’t have to work anymore, you can come to live in Turin with me’.”
Rewarded for his progress, Kean made his professional debut for the club in 2016, aged 16, coming on as an 84th minute substitute for Mario Mandzukic.
Appearing in the Champions League, Kean became the first player born in the 2000’s to achieve the feat and on the final day of the 2016/17 season, he scored against Bologna, for Juventus, another record broken from a player born in the ‘noughties’.
Kean was loaned to Verona last season, first-team football the incentive. However, he only managed four goals in 20 appearances for the club, who were relegated to Serie B, but he still impressed.
Upon returning to Allianz Stadium, Kean had a new team-mate, Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Real Madrid star has settled into life at the Old Lady with predictable ease.
Known for his work ethic and commitment on the training ground, Ronaldo’s influence has certainly made an impact.
The wonderkid himself credits his recent upturn in form to working so closely from one of the world’s best in training.
“I learn from Cristiano Ronaldo, in training, I steal his secrets,” said Kean. “I always try to be ready and train regularly so that I’m prepared when the time comes.
“I can only learn from him. It happens every day,” Kean said. “I’m just trying to stay ready by training to my fullest.”
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is pleased with what he has seen, playing Kean in the club’s last three successive games.
Three goals in seven matches this season make for impressive reading, justifying the belief.
With a number of records already under his belt, there is no reason why Kean can not go on to break many more for both club and country.
