Chelsea fans sent a very clear message to Eden Hazard at their final game of the season on Sunday.
The Blues’ travelling support at Leicester produced a banner prior to kick-off that simply read: “Eden Hazard bleeds blue. Chelsea is your home.”
Hazard started on the bench at the King Power Stadium after playing 120 minutes in the side’s Europa League semi-final victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Maurizio Sarri’s men were taken all the way to penalties, emerging victorious with Hazard netting the winner.
Despite being among the substitutes, he will have undoubtedly seen the banner which was on show for all to see and picked up by TV cameras.
Hazard has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid on several occasions during his time at Stamford Bridge, though the transfer now seems inevitable to go through this summer.
The Belgian has just one year left on his Blues contract and, at 29 years of age, is expected to depart the club and join up with Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.
