Real Madrid will officially announce the signing of Eden Hazard from Chelsea after the Europa League final, according to reports.
French media outlet L’Equipe claim an agreement has already been reached between the Bernabeu club and the Blues over the Belgium international’s transfer, with an £87million (€100m) fee to be paid for his services.

The deal is said to have been reached ‘several weeks ago’, with Real’s announcement of Hazard’s capture to be made after the Europa League final at the end of the month.
Maurizio Sarri’s side play London rivals Arsenal in Baku for the Europa League crown, and it now appears the May 29 showpiece will be Hazard’s final game for Chelsea.

The 28-year-old is widely regarded as one of the world’s best players, and it’s long been believed he would enter Ballon d’Or contention were he to play in Spain.
Chelsea will rue losing Hazard, who remains the club’s key player, though getting an alleged £87million for him should be considered good business since he has just a single year remaining on his contract in west London.

The Blues signed Christian Pulisic during January amid fears Hazard would leave this summer, though the Stamford Bridge outfit will not be able to bring any other new players in unless their transfer ban is overturned or delayed.
FIFA upheld the club’s two-window ban earlier this month, and Chelsea will now take their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in a bid to get the punishment overturned.
