The 2018/19 football season is over for most clubs in England with just the final round of fixtures set to take place around the top European leagues.
Planning for next season has already started for many with the transfer window opening for Premier League clubs on 16 May.
Some players will be moving on from their clubs in the summer as their contracts are set to expire in the coming weeks.
A number of teams will be clamouring for their signature in order to pick up a bargain.
Here at talkSPORT.com, we’ve created our best XI from the players who are set to become free agents.
Goalkeeper
Willy Caballero
The goalkeeper department is a bit light on free agents but trusty backup Caballero is the best available.
The 37-year-old has played been used as a second choice goalkeeper by Manchester City and Chelsea over the last five seasons.
The Argentinian has 430 club appearances in his career as well as five international caps.
Defence
Dani Alves (LB)
Age may be an issue with this free agent defence but what they may lack in pace they will more than make up in experience.
Right-back Alves became the most decorated footballer of all-time when he won Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain this season.
The 36-year-old has an incredible 42 trophies in his career.
James Milner (LB)
The perfect utility man for this team and has been outstanding for Liverpool this season.
The 33-year-old has made an incredible 516 Premier League appearances since making his debut for Leeds United as a 16-year-old.
He has gone on to win two league titles with Manchester City and been unlucky not to add more while at Liverpool.

Milner still has the chance to win the Champions League this season with the Reds facing Tottenham in the final on June 1.
Diego Godin (CB)
Godin has been a stalwart for Atletico Madrid over the past nine seasons, racking up 380 appearances as well as seven trophies.
Atletico look set for a mass exodus in the summer with Antoine Griezmann set to leave but the 33-year-old can still be a top level player for seasons to come.
Vincent Kompany (CB)
A true legend for Manchester City as he led them to a fourth Premier League title this season.
His spectacular 30-yard strike to score the winner against Leicester in the penultimate fixture will be remembered for a long time by City fans.
Despite injury problems restricting his number of games in recent seasons, when he has played he has been an important presence at the back.
City are likely to offer him a contract extension but for now he is set to become a free agent in the summer.
Midfield
Juan Mata (RM)
Talks are thought to still be ongoing between Manchester United and Mata over a new contract but a deal has yet to be struck.
The 31-year-old has been a consistent performer for United in the five-and-a-half seasons since they signed him.
There will be no shortage of suitors if a deal cannot be reached.
Franck Ribery (LM)
The winger was part of one of the most successful European teams over the past decade and helped Bayern Munich to nine Bundesliga titles in the 12 seasons since joining in 2007.
Even though he is 36, he managed 36 games in all competitions for Bayern this season with six goals.
Ribery is not ready to call time on his career just yet, though, and plans to carry on playing next season.
Adrien Rabiot (CM)
The midfielder has been one of the best players to come out of the Paris Saint-Germain youth system for a number of years.
The 24-year-old helped them to 18 major honours since making his debut in 2012, including five Ligue 1 titles.
LATEST FOOTBALL NEWS
His relationship with PSG has been fractured since he announced his intention to leave and has been forced to train with the reserves.
Some of the biggest clubs in Europe are targeting him in the summer.
Ander Herrera (CM)
Manchester United fans do not seem best pleased that their club are allowing a player like Herrera leaving for nothing.
The 29-year-old announced his departure following the end of the season and PSG are the likely destination for the midfielder.
Forwards
Olivier Giroud
The France World Cup winner probably has not got the credit he deserves for the goals he has scored for club and country during his career.
The 32-year-old 213 club goals in 526 games and is France’s third all-time leading scorer with 35 goals in 89 games.
Mario Balotelli
The 28-year-old has had a journeyman career with plenty of unfulfilled promise and antics off the pitch.
He has been revitalised in Ligue 1 over the past three seasons where he netted 43 goals in 76 games for Nice before scoring eight in 12 for Marseille since joining in January.
It will only add to the glowing clamour for the record-breaking 19-year Juventus star. He became the first millennial to play in the Champions League back in 2016 coming on as a sub for Juve aged 16. But not all is well with the Kean family - with the teen's dad Biorou Jean adamant the Italian club owe him TWO TRACTORS.
They put 37,500 to a ballot for the 'football family' and 12,000 to Arsenal and Chelsea. The destination of the remaining 14,500 tickets is scandalous: More for commercial partners and corporate hospitality than club fans.
