Joao Felix had a debut to forget for Portugal as they secured their place in the Nations League final on Wednesday.
While all eyes were on the Benfica wonderkid, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who stole the show with a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Switzerland.
Felix, who has been linked with £105million moves to Manchester United and Manchester City, was substituted in the 70th minute after failing to impress.
The 19-year-old missed a gilt-edged chance in the first-half after being played through by a superb no-look pass from Ronaldo.
Felix has caught the eye of Europe’s top clubs after scoring 19 goals for Benfica last season.
And Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, Felix’s Portugal team-mate, has backed him to thrive on the big stage.
He said: “Felix is a kid who is just 19. He’s very young, he has a giant margin for progression.
“He has shown if he works hard and makes the right choices, he could have a brilliant career.
