Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek was loaned to Crystal Palace last season in a move that worked wonders for him as he earned a place in Gareth Southgate’s 2018 World Cup squad.
And in the 2018/19 season, Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson starred for Derby and is likely to start in their Championship play-off final against Aston Villa on Monday.
Other players could follow the examples set by Loftus-Cheek and Wilson next term.
